Hi, my name is Joselyn Valencia and I'm an illustrator with fine arts experience. I've recently received my associates in arts at Greenville technical College. I specialize in traditional drawing, design, and digital illustrations on procreate.
I love building and designing characters, exploring color pallets, and creating pieces that show my personality through my illustrations while still staying focused on creating clear and engaging art visuals. My combination of traditional art and digital illustration skills allows me to create meaningful and well crafted pieces.
I'm working towards a career as an illustrator and looking for ways to learn grow and collaborate with others. Thank you for visiting my site and I'm excited to share more of my future work with everyone.
Drawing: Composition skills, observation, perspective, graphite, charcoal, prismacolor pencils, ink, and pastels.
Digital Illustration: Digital illustration, digital sketching, layered artworks, iPad techniques, rendering, custom brushes, and color palettes.
Design:Elements of design, abstracts, objective design, color theory, and craftsmanship.
Computer Graphics: Understands the basics of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Understands digital art tools, makes graphics on computer, edit images and adjust layouts, and use design software's to make visual projects.
Printmaking: Relief printing-linoleum and woodcut, cut reductions, linoleum carving, multi-color prints, paper cutting for prints, and photopolymer intaglio plate.
3D Design: Made sculptural work by hand, used power tools and hand tools, can arrange 3-dimensional space, and know basic sculptural materials and how to use them.
